A trash can gave me a complete LC II system via a friend. This is why I'm using a Apple RGB 12" monitor. I got this box without accessories.
This Mac is slow, for exemple, it took arround 4-5 days to make build on it.
Mac are not recommend for Unix. The hardware interrupt clock is at a lower priority than the disk controler. Which means that in heavy disk use, OpenBSD will lose a lots of minutes each hour. (I have cronjob running 4 times an hour to sync the time.)
Yes, the built-in CD-ROM use a caddy.
I didn't have the proper screw driver to remove the PSU and hard-drive support structure. It would have exposed the whole motherboard.
